Tara Thomas, Partner
Tara has 14 years of tax experience, which includes assisting clients with tax planning, research, and general tax compliance. Her tax compliance experience includes preparing and reviewing federal and state corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns. While Tara is experienced in working with a variety of industries, she spends most of her time working with dealership groups, from single-point stores to larger, multi-store groups, including private equity groups and family offices. In addition to providing dealership tax services, Tara has experience in dealership-specific estate planning and M&A transaction services.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), TSCPA, and the AICPA Dealership Conference Planning Committee. She also is a mentor in the Clemson University TigerLink program. Tara is a 2008 graduate of Clemson University, South Carolina, with a B.S. degree in accounting and a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with an M.Acc. degree.

Robert Davis, Partner
A partner in our firm’s Memphis office, Robert brings more than 35 years of public accounting experience to his clients. He is the third generation of this family that has made the retail automotive business their life’s work. Currently, he serves dealership clients in the areas of accounting, audit, tax, and management advisory services. He is heavily involved in transaction engagements and litigation support services. Dealers around the country recognize Robert for his operational knowledge of automobile dealerships and the impact his knowledge has had on their operations.
Robert is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a B.S. degree in accounting, and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with an M.Tax. degree.
